Specification

This series of pressure sensors are used for liquid level measurement of most Non hazardous liquids

Standard stocked versions are selectable here.  These are 4 wire connections. These units carry a 12 month RTM Warranty. In most cases, the life span is between 8 and 12 years.

Please keep in mind, for products such as diesel, the specific gravity is lower than water, so the sensor can measure a taller tank than the base range. A 1.5 meter sensor =  1.5 / 0.835 (Diesel at 15 DegC) = 1.796 meter high Tank

FAQ

Q/  What if the sensor range we have is more than the tank height.

A/  This is fine to a ratio of around 3:1.  So a 3 meter sensor will work fine in a 1 meter tank.

Any larger difference will result in reduced accuracy

 

 

ATEX

Q/   Can we use these sensors in Diesel with the new regulations?

A/   Hazardous areas must be defined by the end client. If the client specifies ATEX Zone 1 or 0 is applicable on the site for product use, the ATEX approved sensors and Gauges must be used.
